As an artist, I draw inspiration from the energy and elements of nature. I love the feel and textures of natural fabric, wood and paper. My art is an expression of my relationship with nature, light and my inner world.  

In my abstract Mixed Media paintings, I allow the flow of the painting to guide me. I create layers of different paint mediums that run over heavy tactile structures like rivers of color flowing over rugged land. Each layer builds additional depth, visual textures, and form.

As a finish, I like to use vibrant oil colors that bring all elements to life.
